At Grizedale
Allison took part in 'We Are Seven Commune Project', a one-month residency for seven New-York based artists, hosted by the Wordsworth Trust and supported by Grizedale Arts. Her practice investigates the cultural phenomenon of historical re-enactment and the role of craft in the construction of national identity. She produces performative sculptures and public events that encourage participants to "take history into their own hands."
