At Grizedale
Dana took part in 'We Are Seven Commune Project', a one-month residency for seven New-York based artists, hosted by the Wordsworth Trust and supported by Grizedale Arts. She mostly makes small-scale gouache paintings that draw from the iconography, architecture and landscape of the cemetery. Her work is contained, neat, and reduces scenes to flat colours and simple patterns in true Americana folk style. Dana has also made films and installations.
