Born 1973, United Kingdom. Lives & Works in United Kingdom.
The Bloor brothers have been working together since 2003. Their works and projects use a range of media to explore moments of utopian potential and flawed idealism. Their practice adapts existing texts, images and structures appropriated from a variety of sources, filtering and re-presenting this information to reveal hidden connections and obscure histories or to create shifts in context that encourage new readings.
For Romantic Detachment (2004) Simon and Tom ran a makeshift print shop, designing and producing all of the print material generated by the show and other artists whilst in New York.
Simon and Tom are also founding directors of Eastside Projects Birmingham.
